The owners of Discovery Den Learning Center, Russell and Judy Estes, are a husband-and-wife team who have been married for 34 years. Their experience in raising nine children gives them a deep understanding and empathy for the challenges of parenting. Russell originally hails from Norman and Judy from Lexington, but they have made Norman their home since 2002. Their daughters, Emily Shaw and Kiley Probst, have also chosen to raise their families in the area, moving to Noble five years ago.
Judy's love for working with children has been a constant in her life. She has served in various roles, including substitute teacher, mentor with the Child Hope Organization, Girl Scout Leader, Sunday School teacher, Children's Director, Children's Mission Leader, and director of numerous Vacation Bible Schools and summer camps. Russell has always been by her side, contributing his skills in building stages, working on sounds, lifting heavy props, and even running a virtual roller coaster ride for one of the VBS programs. This dynamic duo's shared passion for children and their teamwork makes them a great team.
